  1. Gatsby lives in a mansion in West Egg Village. This lifestyle reflects on the parties he throws. However, not much on the actual reasons he has to throw these parties. In chapter 1, Jordan tells Nick about Tom that Tom's got some woman in New York. Tom later on leads Nick to his mistress, Myrtle, who is married to a mechanic. Toms drags Nick to meet her without hesitation. Catherine confides to Nick that Jay Gatsby must have killed a man because he has been avoiding problems. Later on, we learn that the real reason why Gatsby lives the way he does is because he had a lover once and would like to reunite with her once again.

  2. chapter 2: The second question is not the answer that was in my mind although is is true, it was reflected to the part where nick hears about jay and how is life style is because cathrine tells him how jay is related to a ruller of germany.

  3. Nick after knowing he has connection with Wolfshiem is because... I don't really know but the reason Gatsby lives the way he does is because he loves Daisy, he wants to be noticed by her, he wants to be with Daisy. For the other question, of what Jordan tells Nick is how he has been cheating on his wife or something like that. Tom leads Nick to Mrs. Wilson I guess to be gaudy? to show off or just to have some fun. Mrs. Wilson a.k.a Myrtle is married to Mr. Wilson.
Catherine tells Nick that Gatsby is an odd fellow, who doesn't like trouble.

    1. 6/8 because the first question you didnt finish it but the answer was nick views gatsby as a criminal because he thinks wolfshiem and gatsby worked on the world seroise crime together thats why he thinks he has done some sort or involved with crime. The last question is wrong because cathrine just explains how jay has a cousin that is the ruler of germany.
